A database of local structures of protein segments

Search Options

  1. Clustering conditions

ProSeg contains the several sets of clusters that were produced by altering the methods or parameters in clustering analysis. By specifying the different conditions, you can search other sets of clusters.

    Set of representative proteins (RPD):

    Threshold parameter (Dth): [deg]
    Available parameter sets (Nov, 2007)

  2. Output options

You can select output options to taste.

    No. of clusters per page
Allow the pictures of clusters in list
  3. Criteria for searching targets

In ProSeg, several structual properties of each cluster have been analyzed in advance. By inputting appropriate values below, you can reduce the targets when searching and get more focused outputs.

Distance from your query to cluster center [deg]: ≤ Dissim ≤
    Rank of clusters:≤ r ≤
Radius of gyration [A]:≤ RG ≤
Backbone RMS deviations [A]:≤ RMSD ≤
No. of hydrogen bonds:≤ HB ≤
    KL entropy [bit]:≤ KL ≤
