AIST>RIO-DB>Network Database System for Thermophysical Property Data

Network Database System for Thermophysical Property Data is developed and run by AIST, and is available for free. Thermophysical properties data (ex. Thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity, heat capacity, density, surface tension and vapor pressure) for liquid, solid and melts are stored in this database.

Browsing DB by Web browser: TPDS-web/full(for high speed internet), TPDS-web/light(for low speed internet)
DB browsing by exclusiive software: InetDBGV

Announcement

User registration is recommended!

Registered user can use InetDBGV browsing software and access to much more data (about 700 data) than guest user. User registration is highly recommended.

1. Connection

Select the thermophysical property database can be accessed by using browsing software InetDBGV.

1.1 Login

Launch InetDBGV and select a connection server, and login to DB.

If using a proxy server, please follow the procedure below. If not using a proxy, just click "OK" button.

Click the icon 1 to access to server. Input the user name and password and click "OK".

Click "OK" on welcome page to download material folders. Login is completed in screen below.

While the "Internet Connection Status" window is displayed, downloading process is not completed yet.
To stop the action, click "Halt" button.

-TPDS-web/full

It is possible to use simple search or data comparison of the browse system without depending on a certain OS or browser.

-TPDS-web/light

TPDS-web lightweight version can be used via IE, GC, and have a light load.

Exclusive soft for browsing DB

-InetDBGV

InetDBGV is the database browsing software can be used by installing onto your Windows OS. Compared to the web browser version, it has several functions corresponding to higher and technical needs like property search or 3D graph plot using a large quantity of data.
