Fluorine Compounds Database (FCD) is administered by the Research Institute for Innovation in Sustainable Chemistry (ISC) in the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). Fluorine compounds are useful for our society because of their unique properties compared with those of hydrocarbons. Accordingly the disclosure of this FCD to the public will be beneficial to those who are interested in fluorine chemistry.
Fluorine Compound Database (FCD) is based on the FCD (RITE-AIST) developed in the national project that conducted the research of new refrigerants and other substances during 1994-2001 under the Research Institute of Innovative Technology for the Earth (RITE) collaborating with the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) supported by New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). We have revised the software system of FCD (RITE-AIST) to improve its unfitness for the AIST computer system.
The revised FCD (AIST) has been released in 2003 and new data from our research institute are added to the DB occasionally. This FCD is expected to be useful and helpful for your studies.
AIST uses its best efforts to deliver a high quality copy of the Database and to verify that the data contained therein have been selected on the basis of sound scientific judgment. However, AIST makes no warranties to that effect, and AIST shall not be liable for any damage that may result from errors or omissions in the Database. If you want to quote the data listed in this database, please confirm its significant figure from the references by yourself.
This database is exhibited as the test version, and AIST has validated its contents at the same time.
If you used the data in this site, and publish in the societies or the periodicals and so on, please add that the data were quotations from AIST's web site.
